Mischa Portnoy (Alex Portnoy in the TV series) is a junior at Weeping Willow High School and one of the girls who played Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board with Violet. Rather than die from it, she survived the curse from season 1. Alex Portnoy (TV series) is a lesbian.

Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board (Hulu)[]

Alex is best friends with McKenna Brady, Olivia Richmond, and Candace Preston. After McKenna makes friends with new girl Violet Simmons, they all play the game Light as a Feather led by Violet who predicts each players death before they are lifted. Violet predicts that Alex will die by choking although she doesn't say on what. She says that it will take her 5 minutes before she is fully brain dead. Throughout the show it is revealed that Alex is abusing pills and has erratic behavior. As Alex continues her journey Violet finds out that Alex gave Jennie Brady the pills which killed her (Jennie) and blackmails her. In the school hallway Alex takes a secret pill but gets bumped and chokes on it. Alex quickly tells McKenna the truth after Candace's death. They pull together with Henry and Trey to set a trap for Violet.
