Is the weekly raid exotic farmable? ›

RAID EXOTICS ARE NOT FARMABLE.

Bungie finally did something to bring new life to the older raids and dungeon: A weekly rotation. Every week, a different raid and dungeon are part of the weekly rotation, which means they become fully farmable, on top of also offering a Pinnacle reward each.

Weekly Rotators Details

This means all Legendary drops are farmable in the weekly featured raid and dungeon.

The Pinnacle will only drop once, but you can also farm the featured Dungeon and Raid for the Legendary equipment specific to those locations.

Complete the quest to earn one Exotic Cipher. You may only complete this quest once per week.

So if you have 36 unique (3 per week) clears, you have roughly a 38% chance to get it as of now. But you also have to compete with the other weapons and armor which have their own, way higher drop rate.

Loot Eligibility

Your character is not eligible for loot if: You didn't actively participate in the encounter. For example, you were too far away or, in the case of dungeons or raids, you were outside of the instance. You were loot-locked.

Featured raids is a new rotating system in Destiny 2. Each week, one of the older raids will be active, rewarding players with Pinnacle drops and activating all of that raid's challenges. Players that are chasing better gear will want to take advantage of this new Pinnacle source.
