The Elevator Key is found in the shower room on the third floor of Brookhaven Hospital in Silent Hill 2. It can be found stuck inside a shower drain and requires the combination of two puzzle items, a piece of hair and a bent needle, in order to fish out the key. Once retrieved, the key can be used to unlock a nearby elevator call button cover, allowing use of the elevator.

- There is a strange green liquid that surrounds the shower drain where the key is found. What the substance is or why it's green is unknown.
