And, yes, many companies still offer home delivery straight to your mailbox. If you don’t believe me, take a look at this never-ending list.
While most magazine subscriptionsdocost money, you should never pay for a subscription as there is almost always a way to get a magazine subscription for free.
Since these companies often rely on subscriber numbers to sell advertising, most of these companies don’t mind handing out a free subscription to increase the total subscriber count.
The question, as you’re probably thinking is, “Where the heck do I find these free magazine subscriptions?”
Well, I can help answer that.
In today’s post, much like my free calendars, free clothes and the very popular free stickers post, I wanted to talk about the many ways you can get free magazine subscriptions. All of these methods are 100% free and willneverrequire a credit card number.
As always, I’m open and honest, so if you see any misleading websites on this list, do let me know.

What You Need to Know
All of the free magazine options I list below work in the same way and will requireno credit card, I promise.
As it is truly a no-strings-attached offer, you’re probably wondering how the heck these companies can offer magazines for free.
For one, as mentioned, magazines already heavily rely on advertising dollars, and the ad dollars greatly depend on subscriber numbers. So, as a company, would you rather advertise in front of 10 million people or only 500,000?
Also, these third-party magazine companies will sometimes take your information and often sell it to third-party data companies as well as continue to contact you in the future. Just like e-mail spam, it’s not a big deal, however, it’s one thing you need to give up ifyou want something for free.
To cut down on the way they contact you, though, just make sure that you decline all offers the company presents you when you try to sign up. These options often pop up and you’re not obligated to sign up in order to receive your free subscription.
Signing up can take a few clicks to get to the confirmation page, but I do promise you will get there eventually. Just be patient!
With all of this out of the way, let’s explore the many legitimate companies that want to offer you free magazines by mail with no strings attached.
ValueMags
Out of all the options I list, ValueMags is probably one of my favorites, seeing it’s truly a “no strings attached” method. You never have to enter a credit card, simply meaning youknowyou will never be billed. No surveys are necessary, either.
Plus, aside from signing up for a magazine subscription, the company will reward you with what’s known asMagPoints,points you can redeem for various gift cards.
While the selection greatly varies, almost all of the offers you can take advantage of will come from top-name magazines. For instance, when I took a look, I could subscribe to Field and Stream, Outdoor Photographer or Bridal Guide, all of which are pretty popular options.
To sign up, simply click on the “Get it Now” button via the website and submit your address to receive your subscription.
Generally, it will take six to eight weeks to receive your first copy.

Mercury Magazines
MercuryMagazines.com works a lot like ValueMags, with the exception that they want to learn more about your demographic before they present you with magazine offerings.
Similar to that of a survey, Mercury Magazines will first ask you to fill out a profile that asks you the basic questions such as your name, email and the type of work you do.
Then, based on this information, they will present you with a variety of magazine subscriptions you can sign up for based on your profile.
When I signed up, I was only presented with one offer, but it’s at least worth a shot to see what you can get.
The whole process honestly takes minutes and is well worth it if you want a free subscription from a big-name brand.
Bonus: Aside from filling out your profile, the company will often send out special direct links in which you can sign up for specific magazine offerings. For example, while I was writing this, I saw a link for a free Money and Fortune magazine subscription. To find these offers, I would recommend bookmarking this theBalanceEveryday.com page and this yoFreeSamples.com to keep up to date.

RewardSurvey.com
RewardSurvey.com works a pinch differently than the other websites I mentioned here, but regardless, you can still get free magazines with no strings attached. It will require you fill out a qick survey, though.
Here’s how it works.
First, the company asks that you join their company and will invite you to take a very simple survey.
In doing so, the company will reward you $20 to $30 in reward points. This depends on the promotion, but when I was writing this, I could get $30 in reward points, which was enough points for a few options.
It took me about 10 minutes to complete and is no different than other survey companies.
Then, once you obtain your points, you can choose a subscription from their list, add it to your cart and redeem your points.
For example, Fast Company will cost $10 in Reward Points, whereas Forbes will cost $30 in Rewards Points. Here’s a sample of my reward store, for instance:
This was probably one of my favorite options since I was instantly able to add any magazine I wanted to my cart instead of qualifying for one.
Yes, you had to complete a very quick survey, but honestly, it won’t take much of your time.

RewardBee
RewardBee works in the same way as RewardSurvey.com, in which they ask you to join their platform and then take a survey to earn points.
Now, unlike RewardSurvey.com, where they force you to take one survey, RewardBee lets you choose from a variety of topics, as seen here:
Take a survey of choice and earn the point value mentioned on the side. Honestly, the survey I clicked on only took me a few minutes to complete. It wasn’t long at all. Plus, the great thing about it was that the questions were presented all on one page.
Then, once you earn enough points, you can redeem them for a ton of magazine options, all of which start at only $10 in points.
So, in the end, for a few minutes of your time, you can redeem your points for a variety of big-name magazine titles, including Cosmopolitan, ESPN, Entertainment Weekly and so many more.
RewardBee is 100% free to join and is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a particular title.

Your Library
If you have a library card, there’s a very good chance you can download digital magazines online from almost any magazine you have heard of.
Just log into your library account and see if your library offers any digital magazine options. You can also ask your library for more information. I can almost guarantee they have some sort of program.
For example, my library offers Flipster, OverDrive and RBdigital (formerly Zinio), all digital options that let you download magazines to your eReader device, similar to that of a PDF. RBDigital, for instance, had hundreds of options. I swear they had almost every magazine title available.
While these copies will be in a digital form, it’s an awesome way to read almost magazine for nothing.
And, if you don’t like the digital copies, your library more than likely has physical copies you can borrow just like you would with your library card. Sometimes, you may even be able to buy issues for almost nothing.

(Almost) Free Magazines for Amazon Prime Members
If you’re an Amazon Prime member, there are instances when Amazon offers an almost free magazine subscription, or at least an issue for free. I just wanted to mention it here as it’s almost as good as free.
For instance, while I was writing this, there were a ton of issues I could read for next to nothing, from Reader’s Digest to Conde Nast Traveler, in almost every niche, from weddings to photography, gaming and golf. Simply put, there’s a ton!
Amazon almost always offers these deals and the list is always changing. Be sure to follow this link to see what they have to offer right now. Magazines range from physical companies for home delivery to Kindle versions as well.

freebizmag.com
According to the official freebizmag.com website, they have than 250+ free business magazines with an A+ BBB rating.
Glancing at the magazine list, it appeared the website worked like a lot of the other free magazine websites mentioned here.
They ask you to take a look at the magazine list, pick out one of interest, and then, if you qualify, you can fill out a contact form to receive your complimentary subscription, often lasting one-year.
To qualify, you just have to fill out a simple survey, which asks about your career and what you do for a living.
No credit card is required, but once you do sign up, these companies will use your personal information to often contact you in the future and/or sell your information to third-party providers.

Magzter
Magzter, working similar to that of the issuu app, has more than 10,000 magazines, offering free unlimited magazine access.
Said to be voted #1 by readers around the world, the app, as I write this review, has a 4.1/5 rating and more than one million downloads.
Unlike issuu, Magzter appears to work with a ton of big-name magazine brands, such as Men’s Fitness, Bloomberg, Entertainment Weekly and so many more.
Again, being an app, all of your options will be in a digital format and can be downloaded to your phone for future reading.
It’s free, so, hey, at least download it and see what’s available.

Recyclebank
In comparison to a few of the other websites I already listed, it will take you a pinch longer to earn free magazines with Recyclebank,butit is yet another option if you don’t want to pay a dime for a magazine subscription.
Here’s how it works.
With RecycleBank, they will reward you in a variety of ways, from reading an article to even recycling. It’s like most survey websites that reward you for completing certain offers.
Earning points is quite easy, and as long as you’re a first-time member, there’s no reason you couldn’t earn enough points in less than an hour to earn a free one-year subscription.
Magazine redemption rates start at 200 points and increase from there.
And, aside from magazines, the company offers other reward options as well.

MagsForMiles
If you’re a frequent flyer and have some miles sitting in your account, you can redeem them for a variety of magazine titles, including Barron’s, Health and so many more.
Now, I don’t consider this a great redemption at all if you plan on using your miles, but as with all of my guides, I want to let you know of all the options available, essentially leaving it up to you to decide if it’s worth it.
As long as you’re apart of one of the following airlines and know you have miles, it could be an option if you wanted magazines instead of free flights:
- Alaska Airlines
- American Airlines
- Delta
- Frontier
- Hawaiian
- Spirit
- United
Honestly, I would only recommend this route if you had a few hundred or thousand miles in your account and you don’t travel that much. It’s also a decent option if your miles are about to expire.

This is a one-time offering, but PeTA will send your household a free Kids’ Guide to Helping Animals, said to be filled with puzzles, stickers, quizzes and more.
All you need to do is fill out the simple form linked below and wait a few weeks before it arrives.

I would love to update this free magazine post daily, but unfortunately, I’m only a one-man show, so it’s incredibly tough to do. With all of my guides, I try to point you in the right direction whenever I can. I’ll do so here.

While a lot of these websites will source the same companies I already mentioned, it doesn’t hurt to check in occasionally to see what daily offers are active.
Like most freebies, a good offer goes fast, so if you do see one of interest, be sure to act fast so that you don’t lose out!
Free magazine subscriptions to almost any title is 99% possible, but you’re going to find that ValueMags and MercuryMagazines will almost always be the ones offering these subscriptions. These are my two favorites, but I do recommend the others mentioned here as well.

Again, simply sign up and wait about six to eight weeks for your magazine to arrive.
If you don’t like the idea of entering your personal information, then your library will be your next best bet, especially if you don’t mind the digital versions. The apps could work, too, as long as you don’t mind the digital format.
While you will see other free magazine offers, they could be legit, but just make sure you never EVER input your credit card information as it isn’t necessary.
In the meantime, at least attempt to research a free magazine offer before buying because I can almost guarantee you there’s a free offer available.
