Sightings of Lori Loughlin have been far and few over the past few years, but Hallmark fans are now slowly seeing more of the actress.
Throughout the summer, viewers have noticed that the Full House star’s series Garage Sale Mysteries has made a quiet comeback. As folks know, Hallmark publicly cut ties with Lori after her involvement in the nationwide college admissions scandal in March 2019. The network announced that it was evaluating “all creative options” for season 6 of When Calls the Heart before editing her out of the remaining episodes. What’s more, Hallmark Channel stopped airing Lori’s shows and movies, including Garage Sale Mysteries.
But three years after the headline-making trial, it appears that Hallmark is bringing back her projects. “Stream the first three Garage Sale Mysteries now available on #HallmarkMoviesNow!” a Facebook post from July 22 reads.
While fans can only watch a handful of Lori’s popular Hallmark movie franchise right now, this hasn’t stopped many from celebrating the news.
“GARAGE SALE MYSTERY IS COMING BACK ON HALLMARK MOVIES NOW GREAT I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO WATCH THEM. WELCOME BACK LORI @HMNow,” one person wrote on Twitter. “Yay!! and Thank you... hoping that you bring them all back 🙂 ♥️,” a different fan said.
According to an eagle-eyed Hallmark fan, the network is adding a new Garage Sale Mysteries movie every Thursday. Unsurprisingly, the subtle comeback has prompted some fans to ask for an official return.
Although Hallmark has said there aren't “plans to cast her in the future,” When Calls the Heart executive producer Brian Bird has previously spoken out about his support for welcoming her to Hope Valley again.
