Answer:

A one-quart mason jar has the capacity of 32 fluid ounces. We're assuming that you want to fill the gumballs to the top so that they don't rattle around inside the jar.

Calculation is approximate as gumballs are NOT alway perfectly round and the diameter varies slightly.

Thank you for the info. My wife and I are entering a contest, and they are asking how many gumballs are in a mason jar. The problem is, they don’t say how big the gumballs are, or how big the jar is. I’m going to guess that it’s a quart-size jar, and that they are half inch gumballs.
Thank you again for the information. Y’all be well, and good bless.
Please keep making the greatest gumballs ever. I’ve been blessed to have been chewing y’all’s gumballs ever since I was a little boy, and I’m now 53 years old.
    Be well, and God bless!

well first you have to fill the mason jar with water and dump the water out because its probably dirty in there then u fill the mason jar with sand and compare how many particles of sand equals one gumball. after that u dump all the sand out into the sink and calculate how many particles of sand went down the drain. square that number. after all the sand is out of the jar fill a car with gumballs. drive to the store and buy measuring tape. measure the height of the mason jar. once u have these calculations fill the mason jar with gumballs and then take them out one by one to see how many u can fit in there.
