Skills Required: Beginner. Even if you haven’t done much crafting, you’ll be able to accomplish this project. You just need to mix glitter with Mod Podge and apply it to the shirt.
I’m not nearly done with the glitter projects – I just can’t help it. There are too many amazing projects to feature. Yesterday it was a glitter clutch I was looking at and contemplating trying, but did you know that you can do it to fabric as well?

PS – You will not be able to wash a shirt like this if you use regular Mod Podge, but you can hand wash or delicate cycle if you use Fabric Mod Podge.

How to Add Glitter to Fabric
Learn how to seal glitter on fabric with Mod Podge! It's very easy and makes such a big impact.

- Shirt
- Fabric Mod Podge
- Painter's tape
- Glitter
Tools
- Paintbrush or spouncers
- Container for mixing
- Iron (optional)
Instructions
Lay out your shirt and make sure the collar is flat. If your shirt needs ironing, do it at this time so there are no folds.- Mix the glitter with Mod Podge in a small dish. I would say a good ratio is 1:1.
- Tape off the portion you are going to be Mod Podging and start applying your mixture. Let the first layer dry and then apply more in areas that aren't covered.
- Repeat until the desired areas are covered and let dry completely before wearing.
