I’m not nearly done with the glitter projects – I just can’t help it. There are too many amazing projects to feature. Yesterday it was a glitter clutch I was looking at and contemplating trying, but did you know that you can do it to fabric as well?

PS – You will not be able to wash a shirt like this if you use regular Mod Podge, but you can hand wash or delicate cycle if you use Fabric Mod Podge.

Materials

  • Shirt
  • Fabric Mod Podge
  • Painter's tape
  • Glitter

Tools

  • Paintbrush or spouncers
  • Container for mixing
  • Iron (optional)

Instructions

  1. How to Glitter a Shirt with Mod Podge (3) Lay out your shirt and make sure the collar is flat. If your shirt needs ironing, do it at this time so there are no folds.

The project is machine washable in cold water on the gentle cycle or by hand after 72 hours, and line dry.
