The general secondary stat priority for a MarksmanshipHunter is:

1. Haste, to around 30%;
2. Critical Strike, to around 44%;
3. Mastery;
4. Versatility.
5. More Haste and Crit

Haste and Crit are generally your two best stats to take to their respective"DR" points at 30% and 44%, with Mastery being close behind.

It is not possible to DR on all 3 of your "best" Stats, and generally, statsbeyond the DR points of Haste and Crit are going into a mix of Mastery andVersatility, with a slight bias towards the former.

In general, no stat is bad for Marksmanship, and Agility/Item Level are byfar the most important aspect.

Gearing decisions will not always be clear-cut. This is obvious if you haveever had to choose between a high item level piece of loot with bad stats,and a lower item level piece of loot with perfect stats. There are points at which certain stats will start offering less benefit.These are the points of diminishing return. After this point, stats will giveprogressively less benefit. This does not necessarily mean that a Stat will nolonger be good past its point of diminishing returns, but if you find yourselfcrossing them, you should pay special attention to your sims and find out ifyou should look for different stats.

Agility is your primary stat. It provides you with Attack Power,which determines the damage your abilities do across the board.

Mastery, through Mastery: Sniper Training, grants youincreased damage on all your abilities and increases your maximum shotrange.

Haste increases your auto attack speed and Focus regeneration,reduces your Global Cooldown from 1.5 seconds to a minimum of 0.750 seconds,and reduces the cooldown on your Aimed Shot ability.

Critical Strike increases your chance to critically hit withall spells and abilities.

Versatility increases all your damage and healing done, and decreasesall damage taken.
