What is the best use of sacred tears in Elden Ring? ›

Sacred Tears are consumable items you'll spend at sites of grace to upgrade your Sacred Flasks. Each Sacred Tear you use increases the amount of HP or FP your Flasks restore.

You can hold up to 99 Sacred Tears.

Also note that Elden Ring Golden Seeds do not reinforce your flasks to improve their restorative capabilities – you'll need to find Sacred Tears for that.

If you want to spam magic attacks in short bursts, or shoot a boss-killing stream of pure magic, use the Cerulean Hidden Tear in your Wondrous Physick mix. Cerulean Hidden Tear can be found in Mt. Gelmir at the Minor Erdtree, after defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit. The closest Site of Grace is the Road of Iniquity.

Sacred Tears and Golden Seeds respawn. Frenzied Flame is gone after you start NG+ but you keep the burns unless you get rid of them through the character creation menu.

The Sacred Tear is one of a few bolstering items that can be used on your Sacred Flasks. It can improve the potency of your Flask to increase the amount of Health or FP recovered.

Which Keepsake do you choose? The best starting Keepsake items. Our recommendation for the best starting Keepsake is a Golden Seed. This will give you an extra Flask use - either to restore your HP or FP - and at the start of the game, survivability is paramount.
