The Law of Gravity tells us if you happen to step off the ledge of a twenty story building you will most likely fall down to the ground. The Law Of Attraction is very similar in that way, just because you don’t believe it, doesn’t make it any less real. The Law of Attraction is a pseudoscience, it does have it’s own skepticism of how real and effective it is, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t any truth to it.
What is Pseudoscience
Definition: a collection of beliefs or practices mistakenly regarded as being based on scientific method
Pseudoscience consists of statements, beliefs, or practices that come from scientific fact. The goal of pseudoscience is to prove the evidence to support its claim, on the contrary, the goal of science is to challenge its claims and look for evidence that proves it false. This is the main difference and the reason why there is so much skepticism in things like, “The Law of Attraction”, “affirmations,” “Positive Energy,” “Vibrational frequencies,” “Laws of Manifestation,” etc.. Although these things are all a part of pseudoscience, they stem from real world science, observations and experiences, and through pseudoscience they look for ways to validate their authenticity.
What is The Law Of Attraction?
The Law of Attraction is a New Age philosophy movement that believes the ability to attract positive affirmations in our lives depends on the manifestation of our positive energy. In other words what you think about, you bring about. What we are focusing on becomes our reality. If we focus on positive thoughts then positive things will happen, however if we focus on negative then negativity will follow.
“What you think, you become.
What you feel, you attract.
