Smaller teams are prone to more delays and skills/knowledge gaps, whereas larger teams often lack cohesion, efficiency, and accountability. Register your team and players with a local league. You can usually register 20 players for a squad over the season, but only 8 per match for 5-a-side, and 9 or 10 for 6/7-a-side respectively. Players must be named on the team sheet prior to kick-off in order to play.

The dispersal of the 2 midfielders in front means your back players will usually find themselves with passing options forward and the two wide defenders can always play into the central striker's feet or down the side into the channels which are safe areas of the pitch to play the game in.

Football
Associate Football, often known as soccer or football, is a sport in which two teams of eleven players compete with a spherical ball. It is the most popular sport in the world, with 250 million players in over 200 countries.
Rugby football has the largest number of participants in terms of either side.
In association football, at least 43 players have played at least 1,000 official matches at all age levels. Regarding youth football, only matches with national teams are counted, as such data for club levels cannot be found for the majority of the players.
When the number of players in a team falls definitely below seven (e.g. by five players sent off with red cards, or by injured players with no substitutions left, or a combination of both), the match is forfeited. Forfeits are also used as ex post disciplinary sanctions by governing bodies.
Each team shall consist of five players. A player is disqualified from the game when he receives his sixth personal foul. No team may be reduced to less than five players.
A red card is used in several sports and most commonly indicates a serious offense and can often mean that a player has been removed from the game and may be barred from the next game as well.
What happens if the goalie gets a red card?
If a Goalkeeper is given a Red Card, the manager of the team must substitute an outfield player and put in another referee. If that goalie is red carded as well, then an outfield player must put on the gloves and play as the goalie for the rest of the match.
In December of 1997, Wigan Atheltic's match at Bristol Rovers saw five red cards, four of which came in the first half.
FIFA does not explicitly state how many red cards would see a game abandoned. However, a match must be brought to an end if a team fields less than seven players. This therefore means that a side can receive no more than four red cards, while there can technically be eight red cards in a game (four for each side).
Slapping the backboard is neither basket interference nor goaltending. A technical may be assessed when a player strikes the backboard so forcefully it cannot be ignored, but simply slapping the backboard in an attempt to block a shot is neither a violation nor a technical foul.
Six-on-six basketball or basquette is a largely archaic variant of basketball, usually played by women and girls. It is played with the same rules as regular basketball, with the following exceptions: Teams have six players each instead of five; three "forwards" and three "guards".
Surprisingly, there is no official height requirement to play professionally. While having a little extra length helps, the NBA goes more for talent and ability to play. There are plenty of people who are less than six feet tall who can score relatively easily.
A one-match ban will also be given to players that are sent off after picking up two yellow cards in one match and to those that accumulate too many yellows in the first half of a league season.
Can a referee get a red card? No, but other match officials can in effect be sent off. The referee has absolute authority in the match including the power to “relieve [other match officials] of their duties.” The match officials operate under the direction of the referee.
The referee can show a red card even after the end of a game, for example if players become violent on their way into the changing room. After a red card, the match may resume only after the referee has blown his whistle.
Can a goalie be ejected from a game?
If the goaltender receives either (a) three major penalties (NHL Rule 28.2), (b) one game misconduct penalty (NHL Rule 28.4), or (c) one match penalty (NHL Rule 28.5) however, he or she is ejected for the remainder of the game and must be substituted.
Goalkeepers are allowed to handle the ball if the ball is played back to them by an action other than a kick or throw-in (such as a header), but defenders are not permitted to attempt to use a deliberate trick to pass the ball to the goalkeeper with a part of the body other than the foot to circumvent the rule.
If a goalie picks up or catches a back pass, the referee will award an indirect free-kick to the opposing team at the point on the field where the offense took place.
