Can tenors sing low notes?

Women are typically divided into three groups: soprano, mezzo-soprano, and contralto. Men are usually divided into four groups: countertenor, tenor, baritone, and bass. When considering the pre-pubescent voice, an eighth term, treble, is applied.

Tenors are known for their ability to hit high notes, but their range and ability to hit those notes can vary from person to person.
Vocal Ranges
Soprano – A high female (or boy's) voice. Alto – A low female (or boy's) voice. Tenor – A high (adult) male voice. Bass – A low (adult) male voice.
Typical tenor and baritone range differ by about a perfect forth, so the trouble you're likely to have will be connecting the low end of the baritone range to the low end of your tenor range.
The age-old case of the 'lazy tenor' springs to mind – the man possessed of a natural tenor voice but not the inclination to put in the work required to sing tenor properly. You'll find him comfortably ensconced in the bass line.
A Tenor has a range from B2 up to C5 in chest voice. It's rare for Tenors to be able to sing below this, but in some cases can extend a few notes lower to around A2 or Ab2. In rare cases a Tenor can sing up to E5 in chest voice. Please don't try this unless you are an advanced singer.
Male tenor voices aren't particularly rare, but many of those who possess such a voice are more inclined towards popular music genres rather than taking the role of a tenor in a choir.
Additionally, the demands of the tenor repertoire, which often includes challenging high notes and sustained phrases, require a high level of vocal skill and control. As a result, true tenors are sought after for their unique abilities and are relatively rare compared to other voice types.
Our vocal ranges are determined in large part physiologically. Those with long vocal chords sing lower and those with shorter vocal cords sing higher. I nd that men who are true basses or women who are true tenors (very low - below alto range) are pretty rare.
What is the rarest voice type?
The countertenor is the rarest of all voice types.
If you have a good high C your tessitura would be around a F#4 to A4 and your definitely a tenor. If the low note of your range is a C3 you're probably a tenor but if you have a G2-A2 you're probably a baritone.
Firstly, voice ranges: an alto part is one with a range of approximately G below middle C to the E an octave and a third above middle C. A tenor part ranges from about the D a seventh below middle C to the G above middle C.

Frank Sinatra was one of the most famous baritones of all time. Sinatra had a voice that was so highly unique and identifiable that he became incredibly famous and his music still maintains popularity today.
He's a light lyric tenor. He has a quite light and bright timbre. His vocal range is not particularly wide. It's about 2 and a half octaves (A2-F5).
Well, just like your typical pop singer out there, Ed Sheeran sings in chest/mix and head/falsetto. It is how he creatively uses his low tenor voice, however, that makes him an international superstar.
Mezzo-Soprano
Her timbre is feminine, but slightly darker and more sensitive and mature than a typical lyric soprano. Despite her good technique, Gaga rarely enters the upper 5th octave. Within the upper 4th and lower 5th octave, Gaga shines (Million Reasons, God Bless America, Marry The Night), where a mezzo would.
Taylor Swift is known for her soprano vocal range. She has been recognized for her ability to sing in the soprano range, although she has also been known to incorporate different vocal styles and techniques in her music. She is a Light-Lyric Soprano (2 Octaves, 3 notes and a semi-tone).
Baritone: this type of voice lies between the tenor and the bass. It is the most common type of male voice. The baritone emerged as a separate voice type from the bass-baritone in the late 18th century and is a very versatile voice, portraying heroes but, also more often than not, villains.
Can tenors sing high?
Some tenor voices float and are more comfortable singing high notes while others are heavier and so more expressive lower down. Given these variations, several subcategories for the tenor voice exist.
The ability to sing notes in chest voice or head voice varies from person to person and depends on factors such as vocal range, training, and technique. While some tenors may be able to reach C5 in chest voice, others may only be able to reach it in head voice.
There have been some truly legendary tenors over the ages but there's one singing today who is so far ahead of his rivals that you can scarcely squeeze him into the same mental space: Plácido Domingo.
While it is possible for a bass/baritone singer to become a tenor, it is important to note that voice type is largely determined by genetics and anatomy. However, with proper training and technique, a singer can expand their vocal range and potentially sing in a higher register.
