How do you make stickers sticky again?
Spray Adhesive Method
These spray adhesives act as a glue when used to attach two things together but can also be used to help renew the backs of stickers. By spraying the adhesive on the back of your stickers and then letting them dry, you can return your stickers to all their stickiness.
Clean Your Surface
The simplest way to keep your adhesive vinyl from peeling is to ensure the area you want to apply your decal to is clear of crumbs, dirt, or bumps. Oils from your hands create a residue that makes your decal peel as well. Also, any dirt or foreign objects on the surface can lead to peeling.
If you apply a sticker during a cold temperature, the glue film will be too hard and too thick with the result that the stickers will not stick optimally. To solve this problem you can use a hair blower to heat up the surface.
Unclean surfaces – Make sure your surface is always clean, dry, smooth, and flat. If there is any dirt, moisture, oil, or dust on your surface it may weaken your sticker's adhesive and may fall out. Textured surfaces – It's tricky to successfully slap a sticker on to a rough surface for obvious reasons.
If a sticker has become unstuck from a surface, you can make it stick again by applying heat. So, with stickers that have become unstuck because of colder temperatures, putting them in your car on a hot day should help re-stick them.
Acrylic Adhesives.
If you need superior durability or a label that can withstand UV rays and most chemical solvents, acrylic adhesives offer the best adhesion and long-term bonding ability. These adhesives are also very difficult to remove, making acrylic ideal for tamper-evident labels and adhesives.
How to protect stickers on water bottles: If you are going through the trouble of decorating your water bottle with stickers, you want to protect them. Hand wash your bottle only. Don't wash your bottle in the dishwasher, even if it's dishwasher safe.
We don't suggest putting these stickers through the dishwasher as this can interfere with sticker adhesion. Please use a damp cloth or hand wash products with stickers, for maximum longevity.
Reusable stickers are easily made from things found in many homes. Stickers are a useful and attractive, until they won't stick anymore. Reusable stickers fix the problem by sticking to multiple surfaces over and over again. While the stickers can be purchased, they can also be made at home for a fraction of the cost.
- Boil 6 tbsp. of water in a small saucepan. Remove the water from the heat and add the unflavored gelatin, stirring the gelatin into the water until it is completely dissolved.
- Pour the white vinegar and glycerin into the mixture. Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure the glue will be sticky and adhesive.
Does water make adhesive sticky?
While we've mastered the art of formulating an adhesive that remains sticky in air, most synthetic polymers cannot maintain their adhesive properties when wet. Water disrupts adhesion by forming layers on polar surfaces that inhibit contact between the surface and the adhesive.
While wall decals can sometimes be reused, we don't recommend it. Attempting to reuse a vinyl decal can cause a mess, destroy your decal, and often doesn't work.

Use your heat gun with one hand and start slowly lifting the sticker with the other. Hold the heat gun at a safe distance from your hand and keep waving left to right. Once sticker, is removed, place on non-stick paper.
Distilled White Vinegar
Learning how to remove sticker residue with household items can save you money. Soak a rag or paper towel in vinegar and lay across the sticky area. Let it soak for a few minutes to soften the residue, then wipe or scrape to remove. Plus, you can use vinegar to clean all around the house.
Decoupage glue is ideal for making stickers stick to plastic permanently. This type of glue is similar to white glue in that it goes on opaque, and it dries clear. However, it is stronger and works as both a sealant and an adhesive.
I use 3m-Spray adhesive #77 and it works well. You spray the surface just a little then spray the sticker, wait a few seconds then apply them. Wipe off the excess right away and let it dry. It should last a long time afterwards.
How do you protect the water bottle stickers? Ideally, it's important that if you are washing your water bottle make sure to do it by hand. Avoid putting it in the dishwater otherwise the sticker will get defective or shorten the life expectancy of the sticker.

We highly, strongly, very much recommend using Mod Podge to seal and protect the decals from abrasion damage, and this guide shows more details about using it.

Removable Stickers on Sheets
