How Long Does It Take to Get 9000 Iridescent Shards? According to the DBD Gamepedia webpage, you'd need to play around 140 games at 10-minutes per match. In total, that's close to 23 hours of gameplay, depending on how much XP you receive per match.

Play two matches every day, or as often as you can. You don't need to win, just participate. Dead By Daylight awards its players 300 XP for playing as both Survivor and Killer once per day. Regardless of how your match goes, the XP and Shards earned are yours to keep.
you can get it in 2-3 hours tbh. 300-500 shards per level up. Plus you get a decent amount of XP each round to help towards leveling up so 2-3 hours will be enough time if you keep playing. If you're under Devotion 1, then it can probably take a couple more hours to get 2k.

You can't derank anymore. Rank is cosmetic and basically a measure of playtime more than anything. On the 13th you gain bloodpoints based on how high you got, up to 250k each survivor and killer, and it resets to Ash 4, the lowest.

Go to Feleras (lvl 42-45 mobs) and to the northern point of the Isle of Dread. There are mobs of Naga types that drop clams. I got a golden pearl, 3 iridescent pearls, and a black pearl in a hour of hammering. There is also some good mining in the cave there.

At 100 player levels, you gain one devotion level, which will then reset your player level back to 0, and increase the amount of xp you need to gain another level, as well as the iridescent shards you gain with that xp. So 1 devotion level = 100 player levels. More devotion levels = more iridescent shards.
