Twenty-two years ago, on Dec. 13, 1983, the Detroit Pistons beat the Denver Nuggets 186-184 in triple overtime. It was, and remains, the highest-scoring game in NBA history. Before they were the Bad Boys, Isiah and the Pistons were a high-scoring machine.
The next-most rare triple-double is points, assists and steals. There have been only three of those, pulled off by Mookie Blaylock, Clyde Drexler and Kevin Johnson. Drexler is the only player to have two triple-doubles with steals.
