Is ace of spades the highest card?
The Ace of Spades (also known as the Spadille and Death Card) is traditionally the highest and most valued card in the deck of playing cards in English-speaking countries.
That was because card manufacturers had to pay taxes – so called stamp duty was applied. Various methods were used to show that the tax was paid, including a physical stamp on the highest card of the deck, which is, of course, the ace of spades. That is how it all began.
Spades is played by four people in two partnerships. The cards rank ace (the highest) to the 2 (the lowest). Spades are always trumps. Each player receives 13 cards.
The cards are ranked thus, from low to high: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace. An ace is the highest card, but it can also function as the lowest in completing a straight. The two is usually called a "deuce", and the three is sometimes called a "trey".

It's great against single powerful targets aided by ads. In general, it's a fantastic weapon for those who have great aim and can consistently get the precision kills. For those who don't have good aim, the weapon still offers some perks with Memento Mori, but a different weapon may be a better choice.
Object of the Game
To win at least the number of tricks bid. When the two jokers are used, they are the highest-ranking trump cards. The spade suit is comprised of 15 cards: the Big Joker (Full-Color Joker) outranks the Little Joker (One-Color Joker), which outranks the ace of spades.
When suit ranking is applied, the most common conventions are: Alphabetical order: clubs (lowest), followed by diamonds, hearts, and spades (highest). This ranking is used in the game of bridge. Alternating colors: diamonds (lowest), followed by clubs, hearts, and spades (highest).
In games based on the superiority of one rank over another, such as most trick-taking games, the ace counts highest, outranking even the king.
Is ace higher than king in spades?
Highest to lowest: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. To score points (generally 500). Points are accrued by winning at least the number of tricks bid in each hand, and are lost by failing to take at least that many, or in some cases by taking too many.
Take your tricks early, and take tricks with only the cards you intend to. taking extra tricks usually result in bags. However, if someone trumped your king of diamonds, you better win another trick. If you don't have the Ace of Spades, but have the King and/or Queen, try to force the player with the Ace to play it.
Two jokers, if available, rank as the highest cards, and one outranks the other if they are distinguishable. (For example, black joker beats red joker.) Second highest are the 2s, which, like jokers, may also be used as wild cards to a limited extent.
Face cards each count as 10, Aces count as 1 or 11, all others count at face value. An Ace with any 10, Jack, Queen, or King is a “Blackjack.” If you have a Blackjack, the dealer pays you one-and-a-half times your bet — unless the dealer also has a Blackjack, in which case it's a “push” and neither wins.
Like Big Two, twos rank high, and the rest of the deck ranks as usual: aces above kings, kings above queens, and so on, with threes being the lowest. The Jokers are the highest singles, and the red joker ranks higher than the black joker. Two decks may be used for four or more players.
In Vietnam, the ace of spades (death card) was thought by some to put a scare into the superstitious enemy and were left behind on dead enemy bodies after a firefight. Other soldiers used the card as a morale booster – wearing it proudly on helmets to show they were tough and fearless warriors.
The ranking of the cards is from ace (high) down to six (low), except that a six beats an ace. In other words, if a six and an ace are played the six counts as the highest card and wins the trick, but if a six is played an no one played an ace the six counts as lowest.

Empowered Thorn has the potential to put out far more DPS than Ace and can be used with some exotics such as Necrotic Grips to synergize off one another, but Ace has more immediate "do damage to one target with one shot" damage making it a good all-rounder and more preferred for PvP situations.
Therefore, while playing spades with jokers, you must never forget that the deuce of Diamonds ranks higher than the Ace of Spades.

Mercy rule: A team automatically loses if they reach -200 points. If a player knows 100% sure he will take all of the remaining tricks it's usually saves time to just say so and execute.
