Is beast mastery or Marksmanship better in Shadowlands?
Marksmanship has the strongest overall damage of the Ranged Hunter Specs by a large margin, and in all situations. It also has far superior burst damage to Beast Mastery, and does more single-target in its AoE build, and more AoE in its single-target build.
BM is better for single target fights. BM puts up good numbers in tyrannical weeks but not comparable overall. it's rare that BM out performs MM in terms of raw numbers, BM only slightly excels in single target and as we know, single target isn't really the majority of M+ content.

For Raiding in Dragonflight, you should look towards Spirit Beast (Tenacity) pets primarily. We do not want Ferocity pets because the Leech they offer will primarily heal your pet since it is doing most of your damage. Survival of the Fittest.
The easiest in mastering as well as in effectiveness are Retribution Paladin, Frost DK, Demon Hunters (DH), Beast Mastery Hunters, and Fury Warriors.
