What do you need the Moths for in Merge Mansion?
By themselves, if left alone, Level 6 Moths produce 20 Silk per hour, up to 60, before vanishing. However, various levels of Moths are necessary to complete Moth Tasks in the 2022 Butterfly Event. Plus, Level 6 Moths can be placed in the Pool Toys for the aforementioned Casey & Skatie event.
Butterflies, and moths (from lamps) are only needed after you've completed the Casey & Skatie event, so don't save them right now.
If not popped, they vanish after 60 seconds.
The merge sequence goes Beach Ball > Swimming Mattress > Inflatable Donut > Inflatable Crab > Inflatable Turtle > Inflatable Dolphin. From that point on, you can “feed” it Butterflies and Moths for them to drop the Flip Flops, the first level of the Casey and Skatie items.

What does the Scarecrow give you in Merge Mansion?
The first thing you need to get the Merge Mansion Hopeberry Festival Scarecrow is to obtain the Hopeberry Wagon. You obtain that by completing the “Grandma Won't Mind” primary task. The Wagon drops the Horseshoe, which is the first merging step towards the Haystack.
It is used for high level players to have a goal to reach, when they have no tasks left.
With the new update, the items obtained from the events will disappear if the related tasks were completed, as you won't need them anymore in the game!
Beach Toys are dropped by Beach Furniture. Cobwebbed versions are also dropped by Shells. At Level 5 it drops Casey.

To get the Car Hood Ornament in Merge Mansion 2022, you have to play the Lindsay's New York Story event, which revolves around the history of Lindsay Hopper. You won't have access to this event until you've progressed far enough through the game.
