Does Xur always spawn in the tower?

He appears only on weekends between 5 AM EST on Friday to 5 AM EST Sunday, either in the Tower or the Reef. Xur's location is constantly changing within those two place, and for a guardian on the go such as yourself, that can be a challenge.

Xûr's location today can be found at Watcher's Grave on Nessus on May 20 through May 24. To reach him, travel to the landing point at Watcher's Grave.

Xur's Location in the tower. Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.

The weekly Exotic item merchant Xur hangs out in random locations around the world of Destiny. In Destiny 2, he can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur in the EDZ, hanging out in the Winding Cove on the cliff overlooking the Ketch.

Spawn on the Tower, take left go down the stairs. Keep heading forward towards the Dead Orbit. There's a tower behind Dead Orbit, this is where Xur is standing with his goodies.

Players discovered they could sit by Xur, which prevents him from leaving, causing his inventory to refresh – effectively holding him hostage for weapons as random.

Do note, Xur will spawn on a random location that changes each week. Like his arrival time, Xur will also leave the game every Tuesday at 6 PM BST /10 AM PT/1 PM ET, which incidentally is the exact same time as the Destiny 2 Weekly Reset.

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss.

Who Is Xur? If you're new to the game, Xur is a character that sells exotic weapons and armour over the weekend. He appears at 5pm GMT (6 PM BST) in a seemingly random location and offers rare gear in exchange for legendary shards that you can collect from dismantling legendary gear or completing activities.

It has infinite ammo, can take down most enemies in a single shot, and can clear out waves just as well as Riskrunner but from further range. It even does well in 6v6 Crucible playlists, although we don't recommend using it for 3v3 Competitive. Every player should obtain Trinity Ghoul and Masterwork it.

Each week, Xûr has a random assortment of Exotic armor, one for each Guardian class, as well as a random Exotic Weapon and an Exotic Engram available for purchase. In addition to his Exotic wares, he's got a random collection of Legendary weapons and armor to deck out your Guardians.

To get these older Exotics, you'll need to buy them from the Exotic Archive (Monument to Lost Lights) kiosk in the Tower — you'll find it right next to the Vault, between Banshee-44 and Lord Shaxx. Different Exotics have different costs.

The HELM is a new hub area that can be found on the Tower in Destiny 2. Players need to travel it to through the map, and they will find it in the upper portion of the Tower.

Xur's Treasure Room is where Xur and the Starhorse reside, but it's also where you can spend your Treasure Keys. You can use the primary chest to purchase a random weapon from the Dares of Eternity loot pool, which costs one Treasure Key.

In terms of leveling up Xur's Strange Favor Ranks fast, the best way to do that is to keep playing Dares of Eternity without switching to other activities. This mode includes a streak bonus, like all the other playlists.

Does Xur reset daily?

He sells Legendary and Exotic items for Legendary Shards. He only appears on the weekends between 12 PM EST on Friday to 12 PM EST on Tuesday, and his location changes each week.

The way to get Legendary Shards is by dismantling items like weapons and armor. But those weapons and armor must be at least Legendary. Dismantling them will give you a mere three to four shards, but there are a few ways to expedite this process.

However, unlike Destiny 1, you won't need Strange Coins to buy his wares. Instead, Xur accepts Legendary Shards. The only guaranteed way to get Legendary Shards is through dismantling Legendary weapons, so you should definitely stock up on a few of those.

Xur arrives on Friday Reset (9AM PST) and stays until weekly reset on Tuesday (9AM PST). During the Curse Of Osiris update, Xûr offered Three Of Coins, but they are no longer available. You can still purchase Fated Engrams with 97 Legendary Shards.

How To Obtain Exotic Ciphers. There are currently three methods for earning Exotic Ciphers: reach level 55 in the Season Pass, complete a quest from Xur, or purchase the Forsaken Pack DLC. The Forsaken Pack grants a unique type of Exotic Cipher we'll talk about in a minute.

Is Osteo striga available now?

The Catalyst for Osteo Striga becomes available once you earn enough XP with the gun to reach level 10. Equipping the catalyst boosts your range and reload speed, and poison final blows return ammo to the weapon's magazine.

Each item (whether armor or weapon) costs only 1,000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.

Step 8: Kill Champions or Guardians

This is the worst step in this entire Hawkmoon quest. Here, you need to kill either 200 Guardians or a handful of Champions.

When you reach 10,000 Strange Favor, you can reset your rank with Xur to restart the grind. This lets you reobtain most of Xur's reward track items and Strange Engrams, although the rank 16 Ascendant Shard will be replaced with an Exotic Engram.

Boom. Xur, Destiny's mysterious vendor who turns up once a week to break Guardian hearts, is selling Gjallarhorn, the game's most powerful weapon. Finally.

Visit Xur, and you will find he now has another tab in his store. Hit the right arrow and you will find the Dead Man's Tale there to buy. It costs 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, 1 Exotic Cipher and 1 Ascendant Shard.

However, one is a Primary and the other is Special, which puts Wish-Ender at a great advantage. The Draw Time buff also makes the weapon feel much lighter compared to before, making it much more useful in PvP as well. Hence, to conclude, Wish-Ender is one of the best Exotic Primary weapons in the game right now.

Before you ask, this does not appear to work in PvP, so don't expect Wish-Ender to start running wild there.

Xur's Chosen spawns in towards the beginning of the second of three waves, and it's a large, invisible minotaur. For the Vex and the Hive encounters, it spawns near where you enter the room. For the Cabal encounter, it appears on the top middle platform near where the boss spawns.

The Tower: Hanger

Biology. The Jovians or at least its representative, Xur, retain their humanoid shape as their human ancestors. However their faces resemble a mass of black worms and also Light seems to cause them pain.

Xur is located in the Watcher's Grave region of Nessus.

When you spawn in at the nearby fast travel spot, hop on your Sparrow and drive forward. Xur will be a short way up the road, sitting in a giant tree.

After locating Xur, you'll need to acquire the quest. Open the vendor's screen, and pick up the quest item — easy enough. Once added to your character's laundry list, the mission's true objective will be revealed: completing 21 activities within Destiny 2's three core playlists: Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit.

300,000 points is probably only going to be possible on hard mode unless you get the craziest Lightning Round ever. You can get 250,000 points for the pinnacle on normal but more or less only if you farm final boss minions or you get a good lightning round. On Hard it's almost a guarantee.
