Where can Xur be in destiny 2?
Xûr can be found atop the trees in Watcher's Grave on Nessus.
He appears only on weekends between 5 AM EST on Friday to 5 AM EST Sunday, either in the Tower or the Reef. Xur's location is constantly changing within those two place, and for a guardian on the go such as yourself, that can be a challenge.
Xur can be found in a number of places; the Hall of Guardians, near Arcite 99-40, or in the North Tower, in front of the wooden doors. He can also be found in the Ship Wright area of The Tower near Dead Orbit Vendors. His location varies each weekend, so keep an eye and an ear out.
When you launch into the Tower Courtyard, head left and follow the path to the Hangar, then turn left when you reach it. Xur will be up some stairs near the edge of the area.
Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss.

Previously in Destiny 2, Xur's location was marked on the map. He's now unmarked and harder to find each weekend. Here's where to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, as well as everything you need to know about what he's offering this week. Xur is fortunately pretty easy to find this week.

Exotic weapons from Xur cost 29 Legendary Shards; Exotic armor costs 23 Legendary Shards. A Fated Exotic Engram may also be purchased from Xur for 97 Legendary Shards or an Exotic Cipher, granting a random Exotic you don't currently own.
Where does Xur show up in the tower?
Spawn on the Tower, take left go down the stairs. Keep heading forward towards the Dead Orbit. There's a tower behind Dead Orbit, this is where Xur is standing with his goodies.
If you're new to the game, Xur is a character that sells exotic weapons and armour over the weekend.
He only appears on the weekends between 12 PM EST on Friday to 12 PM EST on Tuesday, and his location changes each week. He will appear in the public sector of any of the four worlds: European Dead Zone, Titan, IO, and Nessus or in the Tower. him.
Players discovered they could sit by Xur, which prevents him from leaving, causing his inventory to refresh – effectively holding him hostage for weapons as random.

Do note, Xur will spawn on a random location that changes each week. Like his arrival time, Xur will also leave the game every Tuesday at 6 PM BST /10 AM PT/1 PM ET, which incidentally is the exact same time as the Destiny 2 Weekly Reset.
The way to get Legendary Shards is by dismantling items like weapons and armor. But those weapons and armor must be at least Legendary. Dismantling them will give you a mere three to four shards, but there are a few ways to expedite this process.

Year 6, which began with Lightfall, continues Year 5's seasonal model. There are four planned seasons for Year 6: Season of Defiance, which released alongside Lightfall in February 2023, which will be followed by Season of the Deep in May, and two unnamed seasons to be released later in the year.
Is Xur selling hawkmoon?
As ever, these exotic rolls Xur sells on Hawkmoon and Dead Man's Tale are not cheap. They require an Exotic Cipher, an Ascendant Shard, 125,000 Glimmer and 200 Legendary Shards.

You'll want to hop on your sparrow and head north up the overpass to the cliff at the area's edge. Look for a cave in the wall where the road bends, which you can enter and follow up to the cliff above. You'll find Xur standing beside a crashed Fallen dropship there.
