Furniture in New Horizons consists of multiple categories: housewares, miscellaneous, wall-mounted, wallpaper, floors, and rugs. Furniture can be used to improve your island rating, and can also be traded to friends.

The easiest way to find furniture is by visiting Nook's Cranny and buying the furniture available from Timmy and Tommy. There will be multiple random furniture items that can be purchased from them every day, as well as wallpapers and flooring that can be purchased from the back cabinet.

Every day, 2 trees on your island will drop furniture when shaken! This means that if you're persistent enough, you can get a ton more furniture just by going around your island and shaking trees.

Furniture includes objects such as tables, chairs, beds, desks, dressers, and cupboards. These objects are usually kept in a house or other building to make it suitable or comfortable for living or working in.

Like in previous Animal Crossing games, fossils can quickly earn you a large sum of bells when sold to the shop. However, selling your new fossil right away is a bad idea. Selling a fossil before it's donated can make finding it later on a pain.
