Can any one tell me about the best way to beat Ganondorf/Ganon? - Zelda Universe Forums (2024)

The Biggoron sword is more effective against Ganondorf; If you use the lunge attack, it'll only take a few blows to bring him down.

Against Ganon, I believe the Master Sword is more effective.

The only time I use the Master Sword is for the final blow; the rest is nothing but Biggoron.

Oh yeah, always use the jump attack on Ganon's tail. It hurts him lots, much better than rusty old hammer.

For Ganon, I just ruin the official method completely!

As soon as the battle begins, I just roll under his legs, and target his tail, then shoot it with a light arrow.
After reclaiming your Master Sword, I repeat the process, but instead oflaunchinf a light arrow, I slash his tail instead!

When battling to "monster" ganon, you don't even need to use light arrows. I don't think so anyway, it's been a while since I played the game. I, too, just roll under his legs and slice and dice him with the biggoron sword.
Hee hee, when your master sword gets taken, guess what? You still have your biggoron sword. I don't even use the master sword in this battle.

When battling "normal" ganon: Use the biggoron sword. Not only is it freakin awesome, but it works the best.

Overall- the biggoron sword is the best. Sure you can't shield, but I never shield anyway, so who cares!

I'd have to suggest that next time anyone has a question or asking an opinion on what's the best way to do something, they post it in the Official MM/OOT Help Thread instead of making a thread of their own. And for the record, yes I'm stronger than the Master Sword, however, it is the MS that needs to make the final blow.
