I love Jon-A-Tron's post "How to Clean Up Laser Burnt Wood". Jon uses a brush and pumice hand soap to clean laser burnt wood... His tip on cleaning up wood after laser engraving or laser cutting wood works great!

However, the other day I did not have a brush or soap so I needed a quick and easy solution to clean up my latest project... As a result I discovered the magical properties of WHITE VINEGAR translate to this task perfectly.

So... My new favorite solution for cleaning wood after laser processing is WHITE VINEGAR!

As a side note, I still use the brush and pumice soap on really scorched wood... But if your wood is slightly burnt, discolored, or sticky after laser processing then WHITE VINEGAR will be your BEST FRIEND!

Step 1: Watch How Easy It Is!

This process is so easy you don't even need steps... Just poor white vinegar on a cloth (I used a paper towel) and wipe down the wood. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!
