Events (2024)

Events (1)

Events (2)

Events are only open for a set amount of time and are repeatable afterwards. They are accessible via the Calendar Button on the top left corner. Once started the Event Garage is available via the Event Garage Button, directly above the Garage Button. You can only play one Event at a time.

Access to an Event is granted by opening up a Task that needs the Reward granted at the end of the Event to be fulfilled. After the Event ends, you get Reward Items to use in the normal Story Garage to complete the Task.

Events

There are currently three permanent Events. You can only play one permanent Event at a time. Permanent events can be replayed at any time via the events menu. Once you have completed the task related to the permanent event, you will no longer be able to access that event. Permanent events are sequential, meaning you must complete the previous permanent event before the next permanent event is unlocked (e.g., completing the Hood Ornament event is required to unlock the Beach Sign event).

There are also now Seasonal Events being added to the game. Seasonal events occur for a limited time. The first of these, The Halloween event, begins with the discovery of a hidden stair within the garage, no doubt future events will appear in similar fashion.

Event Mechanics

Events (76)

Events provide unique gameplay mechanisms and item chains (see each event page for more details). The different Events have different mechanics:

Story Events

  • Events become available once you've activated the task to complete a specific item.
  • The Event gives you access to a unique garage setting in which the event items can be merged, and a separate XP bar for the event. This garage is accessible through a special button ontop of the normal garage button.
  • There is no Inventory to store things. However Events (77) Energy is shared between Events and the normal game, meaning you'll usually pause completion of normal tasks until the Event is complete.
  • You start the Event in a new Garage, where most squares are packed with boxes and, once opened, reveal Items covered in cobwebs. Boxes can be opened by merging an item right next to them. Cobwebbed Items can be freed by paying Events (78)Gems or by merging with the same Item.
  • The goal of the Event is to reach the highest Events (79)Event XP possible (generated by one event item only). After completion, the game will spawn a reward item chain for use in the normal garage. The higher the level you've achieved, the more higher-level items you'll be rewarded. The event reward items are then used to spawn an additional item which can be merged to complete the original task.
  • At the end of the event, the event garage is no longer accessible. If you repeat the event, you will lose all your progress in the previous round and start over. However you can keep replaying to get higher level reward items until you finish the task that activated it.
  • The narrative story for the event is told through item descriptions rather than dialogue.

Seasonal Events

  • Seasonal Events only activate during the appropriate time of year.
  • The Event gives you access to a unique garage setting in which the event items can be merged. This garage can be accessed with a 'door' on your main board once the first task of the Seasonal Event is completed or through the Event Collection Shop.
  • Seasonal Event Tasks can be viewed on the normal Task page and usually give Event Coins, essential Event Source Items or other usable items for the Event Board. The Reward Items can be found in the Chest slot.
  • There is no Inventory to store things. However Events (80) Energy is shared between Events and the normal game, meaning you'll usually pause completion of normal tasks until the Event is complete.
  • You start the Event in a new Garage, where most squares are packed with boxes and, once opened, reveal Items covered in cobwebs. Boxes can be opened by merging an item right next to them. Cobwebbed Items can be freed by paying Events (81)Gems or by merging with the same Item.
  • Event Coins can be used to buy Decorations for the Grand Drive and the Gate Areas of your Garden in the Event Collection Shop.
  • The narrative story for the Event is usually told through dialogue at the beginning, when you finish certain item chains and when you buy decorations. Some items also have a narrative description. Moreover the tasks will give you further story snippets if you read them.

Generic Events

  • Generic Events activate mostly randomly.
  • Seasonal Event Tasks can be viewed on the normal Task page and reward essential Event Items or other usable items for the Board. The Reward Items can be found in the Chest slot.
  • They use up space for tasks on your main board.
  • As board space and Events (82) Energy is shared between these events and the normal game, you'll usually have to pause completion of normal tasks until the Event is complete.
  • ?

Gameplay Tips

  • If the event takes place on a secondary board then sell all Items before the end to maximise the Event output since the Garage is cleared at the end of every Event.
  • As the Events are repeatable, they are a good source to farm normal XP and Coins.
  • With the last update the Permanent Events are not repeatable after collecting the final item.
