More of a gritty cop movie than a fantasy.

Bright follows two cops, a human and an orc, who must protect a young "Bright" (a magic user) and stop an evil elf from bringing back "The Dark Lord", who wants to destroy the world. This isn't your usual, magical fantasy though - there's TONS of bad language, bloody violence and nudity in a strip club. It's NOT for kids.Characters are shot, stabbed, sliced and more with a fair amount of blood flow. In one scene, an elf's throat is slit and in another, a fairy is beaten to death with a broom. There's also a lot of language, including the N word, the F word and other milder curses. Women's breasts can also be seen in a strip club.15+ for strong language, bloody violence and nudity.

Dont know how its a fifteen

One of Smiths worst movies. The violence is nearly on par with kill bill and there are unnecessary scenes of female nudity in 2 strip clubs. The story line is atrocious whoever wrote was most likely depressed . The swearing is that of the Wolf of wall street. Would not recommend !

Profanity, violence, nudity but a great movie!

Boy, was this a great movie. Will Smith plays a great role as a police officer.Violence: There is violence. There is shootings, some stabbings and guns are held frequently. However, this isn't the main issue of the movie. It isn't over the top.Language: Frequent profanities, featuring: F--k, s--t, b---h, the N word, a-- and many more. Families, careful about the language.Sex: Brief breast nudity in a strip club and a few kisses.Overall a great movie but I think families should be careful about the content.

Brilliant...but not fir kids

This film is a must watch for Netflix owners! Although it looks quite childish, it is an entertaining film for teens and Adults. Although great, the show is filled with tons of violence- from shoot-outs to slitting throats- these are all graphically depicted, with blood gushing out of the persons knacks like a waterfall! There is also a couple of disturbing things like burnt bodies- they are just red skeletons and a villain has cancer and shows his bag attached to his body. The Orcs may also be scary for younger kids- they have blue faces and sharp, wharthog like teeth. There is also tons of swearing. They say f*** every 30 seconds and words like s**t and D**k are used as well. There is also a scene set in a strip club. You briefly see a women smoking topless and a stripper is dancing topless too. However, this film is really good at showing how ignorant people can be- the orcs and humans don't get along at all, it shows division in the society- the film in the end shows just how good an orc can be at being a cop- he is very heroic and selfless and the main character learns to trust him, and, in the end, they become friends. Will Smith's character always tries to do what's right, whether it is sticking up for Jakoby when people are being racist towards him or standing his ground against corrupt policemen. The film is directed by the same person who did Suicide Squad, and the film is slightly similar. If you wouldn't let your kids watch that, do not let them watch this- this is a lot more violent, sexual and is filled with 100x more language. Overall, great film for teens age 15+ - great soundtrack too.
