TheBed is a structure in Granny that thePlayer can hide underneath. They can keep the Player hidden from Granny, depending on certain conditions detailed below.

Mechanics[]

To hide under Beds, simply stand near the bed and thenpress the bed icon in the top right corner of the screen to immediately hide. To get out from underneath, press the icon again, and you will get out immediately.When the Player gets out from under aBed, they will be in the same position they were standing in when they got under the Bed. In the PC Port, press R to hide and get out.

If Granny enters a room where you are hiding under a Bed, she will not notice you and leave shortly after and may also place a Bear Trap. However, if Granny sees you go under the Bed, she will stand by the Bed for a few seconds before dropping down to all fours to jumpscare the Player. However, this jumpscare has only a 1 in 3 likelihood of occurring.

On Day 4, the Starting Bedroom's Bed will start to have bloodstains that were completely dried up, due to the Player getting badly injured. On the final day, a massive area of the bed will be covered in blood.

Appearance[]

All of the beds are weathered, and consist of a dark interior. They contain a wooden base with four darker wooden legs. On top of the beds is a purposefully thin reddish-brown mattress. There is a stained, grey pillow on top of every bed.

Locations[]

There are three Beds throughout the house.

• The first Bed is found inside the Starting Bedroom and it is the Bed where the Player beginseach day. Unless there is little time, hiding in the Cabinet of this room is better as when Granny leaves, the Player will be able to tell if she went downstairs or not.
• Another Bed can be found in Bedroom 1 and is the only hiding place in this room. The Player is able to tell where Granny goes when she leaves, however they cannot pinpoint her exact location due to the walls in the Upper Floor.
• The final Bed is located in Bedroom 2 and provides a similar view to the Bed in Bedroom 1. It is considered as the best bed in the game because the Player can tell if Granny has gone upstairs or downstairs.

Trivia[]

• Every Bed is located in the Upper Floor.
• Surprisingly, the beds have pillows but don't have any blankets.
• An item can be safely dropped on top of a bed in order to not create any noise.
• Like the Chest and the Car, the Player can strangely turn his head 360 degrees when underneath a Bed.
• It is possible that the Bed in Bedroom 2 used to be the Previous Victim's one due to the massive bloodstains covering more than half of the bed, and implying the fact that the blood is extremely dry, there could be an even higher possibility.
