How do I switch between islands?

Tap the Map button. The Map Menu displays the island you are currently visiting, as well as the other available islands.

How do the Gold, Ethereal and Shugabush Islands work?

Gold Island, Ethereal Island and Shugabush Island are ‘destination islands’ and they work differently than the regular Natural islands (Plant, Cold, Air, Water and Earth Islands).

Monsters of the Natural, Supernatural, Special Edition and Legendary classes can be placed on Gold Island once they have reached Level 15. The monster will remain on the Natural island from which they originated and continue to generate Coins, but their Gold Island counterpart will not generate any coins. If you sell a monster from their native island, their Gold Island counterpart will be removed as well. If you remove a monster from Gold Island, the original monster will remain on their native island. There are no structures or decorations on Gold Island.

Ethereal Monsters can be teleported to Ethereal Island once they have reached Level 15. They will be reborn in the Ethereal Island Nursery. The monster will be removed from their original island when you teleport them to Ethereal Island, and cannot return to their original island once they have been teleported.

The Shugabush monster, along with select Natural species (Potbelly, Mammott, Quibble, Oaktopus, Furcorn, Pompom and Deedge) can be teleported to Shugabush Island once they have reached Level 15. They will be reborn in the Shugabush Island Nursery. When you teleport a monster to Shugabush Island, they will be removed from both their original island and Gold Island if you have placed them there, and cannot return to their original island once they have been teleported.

What are Mirror Islands?

Mirror Islands are a premium purchase that can be accessed from the Map Menu. These Islands are alternate copies of the original Islands and allow you to start from scratch tocreate new and exciting Monster displays without changing your original Island!

I leveled my Monster to 15, but I can't teleport it. What's wrong?

Not every Monster is available to be teleported! Check the Shugabush, Ethereal, and Colossingum Island Monster Markets to see which Monsters are available on these Islands.

After completing the Colossingum Tutorial you can select a Monster, then tap on the Teleport Icon. This will open the teleport menu. Here you can see all of the Islands that Monster can teleport to and the requirements to do so.

You can also place any level 15 Monster from your Natural Islands on Gold Island! Simply visit Gold Island from the Map Menu and tap the "Place" button for the list of eligible Monsters.

Teleporting Monsters can be a little tricky, the Monster Handlers have created a short video tutorial in case you needed a little more help; check it out below!

I teleported my Monster, but it didn't show up on the Island - what happened?

Your Monster is likely incubating in the Nursery on its new home! When a Monster is teleported, it is reverted back to an Egg and must incubate in the Nursery again before it can be placed. The Monster is also reset to level 1.

What is an Island Skin?

An Island Skin is a cosmetic unlockable for your Island. It replaces the current Island’s appearance with a brand new one. But Island Skins are much more powerful than that! They provide a variety of powerful stat boosts for the Island it has been purchased for.

What Island’s have Skins?

Currently, Plant, Cold, and Earth Island have Skins, Vegetable Medley, Swetti Settlement, and the Temple of Hahoo.

Do the Mirror Islands also have Skins?

No, Mirror Islands do not have Island Skins.

What Level do Island Skins unlock at?

Skins are unlocked for purchase once you reach level 12.

How do I purchase an Island Skin?

Skins can be purchased for 2500 Diamonds, or for $9.99 USD in a special bundle that includes a bonus 100 Diamonds. They can be purchased from the Island’s info panel, by opening the tab at the top of the screen that is labeled “Skin”. You can open the info panel by tapping on the Info button while no Monster, Structure or Decoration is selected. To purchase the Skin on its own, tap the Buy button on the bottom of the Skin tab. To get the bundle containing the Skin and Bonus Diamonds as an in-app purchase for $9.99 USD, tap the paintbrush button in the upper right of the Skin tab.

How do I activate and deactivate my Island Skin?

Tap on the Info button located at the bottom of your Island view. If you have no Decoration, Structure or Monster selected it will open the current Island’s info panel. At the top of the displayed info panel, there will be a tab you can open to access your Skin. Tap on the tab, then tap on “Activate” at the bottom of the screen to enable your purchased Skin. While an Island Skin is in use the button will change to show “Deactivate” instead. Tapping on this will revert the Island to its original appearance.

What are the boosts provided by the Skins?

All Skins provide you with three boosts:

  • 15% Increased Coin generation per minute
  • 10% decreased incubation duration in the Nursery
  • Doubled Wishing Torch breeding chances

Do I keep the boosts if I deactivate the Skin?

Yes, the buffs provided by purchasing an Island Skin are permanently enabled on the Island you have purchased it for, even when they are disabled.

How come my Obstacles are still the same?

Island Skins will not change the appearance of Obstacles or Obstacle Decorations. The only way to get decorated Obstacles is to purchase them during their normal Seasonal availability.

How do I purchase permanent seasonal obstacles during an event?

During seasonal events like Easter or Halloween you can purchase permanently decorated Obstacles! You can do this by opening up the Marketplace, clicking on the decorations tab, and scrolling until you see the decorated obstacles. Once placed these Obstacles stay decorated all year round!
